Week off
I've got the week off work (to spend with Beth before she starts her new job) and am hoping to fill it with some top tier pottering. I have some errands to run and jobs to do but also some nice days out planned. Keeping my fingers crossed for some sunshine.
Media tracker
I've migrated this from Notion to Obsidian (looks much nicer) and had success this evening setting it up to sync. I'm still working on importing films but TV shows are done. Next up will be music and books. I'm hopeful this whole experiment will be worth it and I won't find the upkeep too faffy, only time will tell.
Hating Android
I tried to like it, I really did. This is the second time in my life I've flirted with Android, and it'll be the last. The siren song of iOS has too much power over me.
Reading
- The Voyage Out by Virginia Woolf. I'm working my way through all of Woolf's novels in order starting with this, her first.
Listening
- Radical, Amol Rajan's podcast. A smorgasbord of interesting conversations.
- When a Flower Doesn't Grow by Softcult. Shoegaze-y grunge-y goodness.
Watching
- Mob Psycho 100. Absolutely bonkers anime series about a schoolboy who has the ability to see the dead and works for Spirits and Such Consultation Office in his spare time.
- Wake Up Dead Man. I watched this on Friday and loved it, almost as good as the first film in the Knives Out trilogy.
